Therapy for Teens

Being a teenager can be really freaking hard. As if the typical struggles of peer pressure, piecing together our identities, navigating heartbreak, etc. weren't hard enough, now we add the impact of social media, the aftermath of COVID, and heightened political, environmental, and world issues. Don't get me wrong. Being a teenager is still awesome, but I argue it's rougher out there than ever before.

Every teen deserves to go through life with lots of friends, interests, achievements, and a great sense of self-worth. And sometimes that's the case, but sometimes it isn't. There can be loss, high stress academic environments, stressful peer relationships, problems at home, or whatever else life throws at us. These can result in anything from existential and identity questions to depression, anger, anxiety, self-harm, substance abuse, etc. It's all some form of suffering and meaningful help is available.
